Craig Petit attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He came to Veterans First Mortgage® because they put their employees and customers first, and the opportunities are unmatched by anyone in the industry. He likes that Veterans First has employees who have been here for 20 years; that loyalty speaks volumes about the quality of the organization.

Craig’s mother is a World War II survivor from France, and he recognizes the significance of this—had our country not liberated France from Nazi Germany, he would not have been born. Craig is a product of history, and values the United States Veterans who gave their lives in Europe. “Many fathers did not return home so that Alvin J. Petit could be my father,” Craig explains. He is proud and honored to serve those who’ve served, and has some firm beliefs: Whatever you want for yourself, want for others first; the way others should work for you, work for them first; what you expect in others, expect from yourself first; only promise what you can deliver, but deliver every promise; and you don't have to know how to do everything, just be committed to doing it.

When he’s not working, Craig enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s at the beach, scuba-diving, or competing in obstacle-course races. As a President's Club member and a Soaring Eagle, we know that Craig understands the industry and his clientele, and we’re confident he provides a great loan and great service to his Veterans First clients.
